This summer Ry joined a summer bowling league. There were 3 kids to a team and I'd guess approx. 15 teams. Ry was on a team with 2 other boys Noah and Dexter all about the same age. They started out the season being the bottom team and rose all the way to the top. Going into the last week they were #1 with 2 wins ahead of 2 teams that were tied for second. They didn't do so well that week only winning 1 game which ended up in a tie. Not just any tie but a 3 way tie for 1st place. So, the 3 teams had a bowl off and the team that won the first game got the title of first place. That team, was not Ry's so they came in 2nd which was still a huge accomplishment considering this was all 3 of the boys first year bowling and they were at the bottom after the first week.

This was a great experience for Ry in my opinion because he was able to be part of a team and learn a little something about sportsmanship. He is undecided if he wants to bowl in the winter league but registration is next week so he doesn't have much time to think about it.

Hey girl! That's a cute pic, and good idea about blurring the kids pics, I usually just crop them out! Hailey was on a bowling league at Acadiana Lanes this summer and LOVED it! She finally started to get the hang of it in the last few weeks! nShe keeps asking when we're going back!!
